Le troisième jour de mon séjour, j'ai pu visiter une ferme voisine, celle-ci spécialisée dans l'élevage de vaches laitières. Il y a plusieurs façons de traire les vaches. Autrefois tout était fait à la main, mais de nos jours plusieurs degré d'automatisation son possibles. Sur certaines exploitations, les vaches vont elles même se faire traire quand elles en ont besoin sur des machines. Là où j'étais, deux personnes viennent chaque matin et chaque soir positionner l'embout des machines sur les pies des vaches. C'est donc un processus semi automatique auquel j'ai pu assister.
On the third day of my stay, I visited a neighboring farm, which specializes in raising milk cows. There are several ways to get milk from cows. In the past everything was done by hand, but nowadays several degrees of automating are possible. On some farms, the cows will themselves be milked when they need it on machines. In this farm, two people come every morning and every evening to put the end of the machines on the cows' pies. It is therefore a semi-automatic process that I was watching.
Dans un précédent chapitre nous avons pu voir le chargement du foin destiné aux bovins. Nous voyons ici son utilisation. Comme il faisait un très mauvais temps, les animaux étaient dans leur enclos. Quand il fait beau bien sur elles profitent des nombreux champs de la région.
